Founded in 2019 with just three chickens and a vision for change, Akumae Enterprise has grown into a dynamic agribusiness enterprise committed to transforming lives through sustainable agriculture, innovation, and community empowerment in Turkana County, Kenya.
Our journey has been shaped by resilience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to creating meaningful opportunities. Through challenges and setbacks, we have remained focused on our mission of empowering communities, strengthening livelihoods, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
Today, Akumae Enterprise offers a diverse range of agribusiness solutions, including chick brooding, layer and broiler farming, Black Soldier Fly production, smart agriculture technologies, agribusiness consultancy, and training and mentorship programs. We champion climate-smart agriculture while equipping youth, women, and vulnerable communities with practical skills, knowledge, and opportunities to build sustainable farming enterprises.
