Founded in 2019 with just three chickens and a dream, Akumae Enterprise has grown into a dynamic agribusiness enterprise dedicated to transforming lives through sustainable agriculture and innovation in Turkana County, Kenya.
Our journey has been built on resilience, hard work, and determination. Despite facing challenges and setbacks along the way, we remained committed to our vision of creating opportunities and empowering communities through agribusiness.
Today, Akumae Enterprise specializes in chick brooding, layer and broiler farming, Black Soldier Fly production, smart agriculture solutions, agribusiness consultancy, and training and mentorship programs. We are passionate about promoting climate-smart agriculture and supporting youth, women, and vulnerable communities with practical knowledge and sustainable farming opportunities.
What started as a small idea has grown into a mission-driven enterprise focused on creating impact, inspiring growth, and building a more sustainable future through agriculture.
